Gigabyte GSmart S1200 – Touchscreen und Windows Mobile

Die taiwanesische Firma Gigabyte, die normal nicht bekannt für Smartphones und Handys ist, hat auf dem Mobile World Congress 2009 nun wie erwartet ein neues Smartphones vorgestellt, das GSmart S1200. Das GSmart S1200 sieht äusserst elegant aus, was nicht zuletzt an dem Chromrahmen liegt.

Als Betriebssystem kommt Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional zum Einsatz, mit der Option auf Windows Mobie 6.5 zu upgraden. Der 3,1 Zoll große Touchscreen bringt es auf eine Auflösung von 480 x 800 Pixel. Ferner stehen HSDPA/HSUPA, A-GPS, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB-Port, microSD-Karten Slot und eine 3 Megapixel Kamera zur Verfügung.  Im Innern werkelt ein 528 MHz Prozessor von Qualcomm. Preise und Erscheinungsdatum werden noch bekannt gegeben.
