Kindle Fire bekommt in naher Zukunft Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Es gibt ja schon seit einiger Zeit versuche, ein ganz normales Android auf dem Amazon Kindle zu installieren. Bis jetzt ging dies nur mit Android Gingerbread. Allerdings gibt es, wenn man es einmal installiert hat kein Zurück mehr! Nun hat es ein Mitglied des XDA-Developer Forums geschafft, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich auf dem Amazon-Tablet zu installieren. Somit wäre der Amazon Kindle Fire das wohl günstigste Tablet, auf dem Android 4.x läuft!

Wie ihr in dem Video gesehen habt, ist dies noch eine sehr frühe Version. Momentan funktionieren auch noch nicht alles. Das wichtigste was noch nicht funktioniert, dürfte das Wifi sein, denn was will man mit einem Tablet ohne Internet ? Wenn alles rund läuft, wird Developer G1011999 seinen Code auch veröffentlichen, damit jeder in den Genuss von Ice Cream Sandwich auf dem Amazon Kindle Fire kommt.
